Submitting Your Newspaper Engagement Announcement

Allentown Morning Call

Wedding and engagement announcements appear in the Sunday edition, and there is no fee. Forms are available on the paper's web site (www.mcall.com), or you may call Lea Zellner at 610-820-6520 to request one. Forms must be sent in two weeks prior to your wedding day in order for the announcement to be published the Sunday after the wedding. Black and white photos are accepted for wedding announcements only, and there is no guarantee that they will be returned.

Atlantic City Press

Short wedding and engagement announcements are free in the Press. However, for announcements that include a photograph, fees start at $65.31. Announcements run on the Special Occasions page in the Sunday Lifestyle section. Photos will be returned if you enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. To request an announcement form, call 609-272-7070 and leave your name and address.

Bucks County Courier Times

Call 215-949-4070, code 1240, and leave your name and address to receive a form. There is no fee, and photos are accepted. Engagement announcements should be sent in no less than one month prior to the wedding: wedding announcements must be submitted in a timely fashion.

Courier-Post

To receive a form, send a SASE to: Courier-Post, Scrapbook, P.O. Box 5300 Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034 Wedding announcements must be submitted within three months after the wedding, and engagement announcements must be submitted at least three months before the big day. Good-quality photos will be accepted and returned if a SASE is included. Announcements are accepted only if you have a parental connection to Camden, Gloucester or Burlington counties, or if you are a resident or former resident. Call: 609-663-6000

Delaware County Daily Times

Call the newsroom directly at 610-622-8810 to request a form. Announcements will only be accepted form residents or former residents of Delaware County, or from those who are employed in the county. Engagement forms must be submitted at least two months before the wedding, and wedding forms must be submitted no later than six months after wedding. Both black and white and color photos are accepted and will be returned if a SASE is included. There is no fee.

Jewish Exponent

The Jewish Exponent will publish your wedding or engagement announcement, using the announcements for a fee of $50. There is no form to fill out: rather, the newspaper asks that you write your own announcement, using the announcements in the current edition as a guideline. Black and White photos are preferred, but clear color photos are acceptable. Enclose a SASE, if you would like your photos back. Call 215-893-5740

Main Line Life

Main Line Life publishes free wedding publishes free wedding engagement announcements. You can either write your own announcement or fill out a form. Send your information to: Main Line Life, 110 Ardmore Avenue, Ardmore, P.A. 19003 (including your daytime phone number), or fax it to 610-896-9560. Montgomery Newspaper

To announce your good news in the Springfield Sun Ambler Gazette, The Colonial, The Public Spirit, North Penn Life, Central Bucks Life or the Willow Grove Guide, call 215-542-0200. You will be sent a form, which you may submit with a photo to have a free wedding or engagement announcement published. Enclose a SASE for the return of your photos; however there is no guarantee that they will be returned.

Philadelphia Inquirer

The Inquirer runs free wedding and engagement announcements every Sunday in the Neighbors section, in the suburban editions only. To request a form, call 610-313-8016. Black and white or color photos are accepted but they cannot be returned. For the city edition (and all others), you can purchase an announcement through Classified Advertising (215-854-5336).
